New England Grain to Glass through 4 New England Seasons
Our Small Batch of Straight Bourbon Whiskey is made from scratch with the intention of expressing New England grain through all 4 New England seasons. We use 63% corn along with rye, wheat, and malted barley from Maine Malt House in Mapleton, Maine to create a distinct flavor profile that can only be crafted by managing every aspect of production. From our precise mash to our long, delicate fermentation and double pot distillation, we craft a spirit that embraces Bourbon’s versatility, yet carries a distinguished New England character. By aging our bourbon in American white oak casks for over 2 years, the temperature extremes between hot summer and cool winter seasons affect how the bourbon reacts with the oak ensuring that the wood and bourbon have a chance to really integrate.
Our final spirit arrives with pronounced aromas of toffee, sweet corn, and a touch of cigar box smoke. Orange peel and vanilla lead the charge on the palate, as brown sugar and warm baking spices round out this full-bodied New England bourbon.
